The class grades are not segregated from each other throughout the school day.  The seventh and eighth grade students purposely and regularly spend time with the pre-K and kindergarten students. The middle school actively participates in activities with the younger grades. The older students model kindness, and both the older and younger students benefit.

Christ is an integral part of school life. Every student is taught Catholic religious education.   All children can learn about Jesus and grow in a personal relationship with Him. Benefits include:  Learning to be reverent.  Learning the value of symbolism, and recognizing its use.  Learning to be confident in proclaiming His word and recognizing kindness and love for others.  Learning  to represent their class by serving  and speaking in front of a group. Spending a quiet hour in the chapel  or the celebrating  Student Mass on Fridays separates students from the excessive stimulation of our modern world, and teaches them how to indulge in the gift of quiet. These are tangible benefits from Catholic religious education.

Students of all faiths are welcome.  They are welcomed with the true message of Jesus' teaching,.. Jesus sent His Apostles to share the Truth of His love with everyone.

With over a century of rich school history and a bright future in our upgraded and new facilities, we encourage new families to become part of the St. John Catholic School Family.
